1] Open Grade Machine and from
the File menu, create a NEW CLASS.
2] From the FILE menu select
Import
3] In the window IMPORT FROM,
see a list with ACCESS hilited, click on OK
4]From
the next window which reads: Please
select a TEXT file to import, click on
DESKTOP,
then look for either FILESERVERS or WEBSTORAGE in the window
5a] ~
If you chose FILESERVERS, open it,
and you will then select and open WEBSTORAGE which is the next
level "down"
5b] ~ f you chose then
open WEBSTORAGE
6] Within WEBSTORAGE find
CLASS_LISTS folder, and open it

Open and look for the id/section number for your class[es];
hilite one of them and OPEN
8]
Your class names, ID, sex and grade will automatically load into the
New CLass file you created above.

SAVING
to a FLOPPY:
1] Insert floppy, and then from
the FILE menu, chose SAVE CLASS
* be careful that the last
person using this workstation did NOT save a style --more on that in
class -

On Macs go to the
DESKTOP, and find the floppy and save as you would any file

SAVING
to the SERVER:
Use EITHER your departmental server logon account for your teacher
server logon account which also works.
1] From the FILE menu chose
SAVE, then click on DESKTOP, and navigate to WEBSTORAGE/ Your
department folder. Log on as your department,
e.g. SocialStudies, Password: ********.
Select your folder and save your files there.
